Comedians | Austin Lowe
In the dark days of 1999 Austin Low first stood up, aged 15, to make people laugh. At this first gig he was so hilarious that people’s sides split, and 4 died. Austin vowed never to do comedy again. 5 years later he moved to Glasgow going back on stage, as therapy for his own shortcomings. With each gig his eccentric, lively style gather’s more pace, some think he has the next generation flavour, and some just think he has psychological problems.
During his career he has taken part in the Edinburgh Festival with the Alive 4 Show in 2004, and also plays clubs such as, the Stand, the State Bar, and many others all over Scotland. He is currently taking part in Scotland 4 – Australia 1 at the Glasgow Comedy Festival where he has teamed up with rising stars Kieran Butler, Kier McAllister, Peter Aitchison and Paul Pirie for an hour and half of stand up, sketch and musical comedy.
Austin: he’s what you make him.
