Chuckle Club (London)
Described in the Observer as "London's Friendliest Comedy Club" and staged every Saturday evening in the very comfortable and inexpensive Bar at the London School of Economics. Your entertaining evening begins with a warm-up and then three main acts, each of about 25 minutes, then there are usually two or three "Open Spots"- some of them are wonderful, some are dire, but that's half the fun!
Laughing Horse Comedy Clubs (London)
Laughing Horse have been bringing stand-up comedy and entertainment to London and the South East since 1998 - at a series of friendly stand-up Comedy venues, which are always enjoyed by both comedians and audience alike.
Komedia (Brighton)
The popular Brighton venue, with Bar and Cabaret (delicious new eats menu now available in the Cabaret Bar) presents top comedy in the heart of the North Laine. Site has full listings of forthcoming events, reviews, ticket prices, concessions and times.
Last Laugh Comedy Club (Sheffield)
The Last Laugh Comedy Club is Sheffield's longest running Comedy night, started over 1 million years ago by Roger Monkhouse. It still runs every Thursday night at The Lescar Hotel, Sharrowvale Road, Hunter's Bar. Along with their sister club, The Merry Hell they book two headline acts each week. Open spots are available, just give them a buzz.
Jesters Comedy Club (Bristol)
A world of live alternative stand up comedy using the best of the professional circuit in the UK, followed by a disco. The club (including bar) is open from 7.30pm to 1am and food is also available, everything from burger & fries in a basket to curries, enchilada and nachos.
Comedy Kav (Birmingham)
Fortnightly in Section Two at The Patrick Kavanagh, The Comedy Kav showcases the best stand-up comedians in Britain, as well as up-and-coming local talent. The site lists forthcoming events complete with ticket prices and details of concessions.
Bound and Gagged Comedy Club (London)
There are two Bound & Gagged Comedy Clubs, the first is based at The Fox in Palmers Green every Friday night and the other is at the Tufnell Park Tavern in Tufnell Park every Saturday night. Among the comedians to tread the boards at Bound & Gagged include Lee Evans, Jo Brand, Harry Hill, Craig Charles, Graham Norton, Lee Hurst, Alan Davies and Eddie Izzard.
Banana Cabaret (London)
"The friendliest comedy club in the country" to quote The Guardian with good food, bar and DJ until 2am. The site gives the names of comedians performing in the near future with times of shows and price of tickets and concessions. You can also receive regular updates via email, and check out a map showing you exactly how to get there.
Comedy Store (Manchester)
Continuing the unmatched reputation that has given the Comedy Store London worldwide recognition for presenting the very best in comedy, the Comedy Store Manchester is open from Wednesday through to Saturday, with 5 shows every week. This brand new state of the art venue houses a 500-seater auditorium, two dining and bar areas plus a dance area.
Frog and Bucket (Manchester)
It's not just comedy, it's a good night out. The Weekend Show features at least 3 top comedians plus a compere. Monday Night a top comedian plus a top northern compere plus a "RED HOT" headline act with up to 6 aspiring comedians and drinks promotions. The Frog and Bucket also provides in house cooking with substantial bar snacks and a super range of wine, spirit and beers.

Stand, The (Scotland)
"Scotland's own comedy Club", an intimate, relaxed and popular club promoting local talent and attracting some of the biggest names on the comedy circuit and the fourth biggest comedy venue on the fringe. It is Scotland's only full-time comedy venue, and provides entertainment seven nights a week.
XS Malarkey, Manchester
XS Malarkey is the new name of Manchester's cheapest and best comedy club, Murphy's Malarkey. The comedy night was shifted from Scruffy Murphy's to Bar XS on the 25th September 2001 after the brewery (Bass) withdrew funding for the night. Luckily we found a few venue (Bar XS) so the night can still go ahead, whilst STILL being the best value for money - probably in the country! (apart from Just Laugh of course)
