Laughter Expected
Go along to the monthly Just Laugh full of expectations searching for a good laugh and you will not be disappointed.
Host Bruce Fummey had the crowd belly-laughing in seconds.
First Act was Reg Anderson who priceeded to entertain with an eclectic mix of comedy, bad Tommy Cooperesque majic and a suitcase full of crazy props. It was so bad it was good.
Comic Esmond had brilliant observational comedy.
Bill Dewar, a well known Scottish stand-up with dry and self-focused humour – one warms to him very quickly and the laughs just kept coming.
Topping the bill was Kevin Hayes, an amiable Irishman with a twinkle in his eye who often touched on topics that really shouldn’t be laughed at but made them funny anyway. Religion, politics, the death of Diana – can he get away with this? He does… just.
